Prayer June 28, 2009
God of grace and of glory, thanks be to you for our nation’s founding fathers who instilled “the wall of separation” between church and state. As we “render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and to God the things that are God’s,” help us remember from the lessons of history that religion and government flourish better apart than when one seeks to control the other.
