Prayer June 21, 2009 Judicatory Head: The Reverend William Judson Shaw Presbytery Executive/Stated Clerk Number of congregations in SC in 2007: 78 Most holy and loving God, Lord of compassion and peace, with humble hearts we lift up our prayers of thanksgiving. We are thankful for your love and grace that sustain us, and give us the courage to live our lives reaching out to others. We are thankful for the reconciling life, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, in whose name we speak out for peace and justice in a broken and sinful world. We are thankful for your Church, the Body of Christ. Gracious God, grant unto us the wisdom we need to seek your way, and the courage of heart to walk in your light. In Christ’s name we pray.
