Families

O Lord, we pray today for families—big families, small families, traditional families, and unique families. Give abundant love to couples as they depend on each other. For every situation, grow wisdom and patience in parents; help them guide and train children toward godly lives with the tenderness that builds sweet memories and the discipline that strengthens children and parents spiritually and emotionally. Comfort those who mourn the death of a loved one and those lonely and hurting due to separation or divorce. Above all, may love overflow in our families, may spiritual kinship be known through worship, and may all experience an exuberant joy in you. We pray in Jesus’ name.
