Eternal and Almighty God, we honor you and praise you as we ask you to look on the Baptist Educational and Missionary Convention of South Carolina with favor as they convene their 132nd Annual Session, May 4-8, 2009. We pray for them your wisdom and understanding as they deliberate on challenging issues and concerns. May your will be done through the power and the working of the Holy Spirit in their session and throughout all the constituent churches. In Jesus’ name we pray.
