Prayer January 11, 2009 Just, gracious, and caring Creator, we seek your direction and guidance for our elected representatives as they labor to create effective and meaningful public policy. Bless our legislators to prayerfully do their work, driven not by partisan politics but by the needs of your people, to work not for self interest, but for the best interests of all of your people. Bless our legislators to seek and do your will, remembering Jesus, who taught us "Whatever you do for any of my people, no matter how unimportant they seem to be, you do for me."
