God of grace and glory, we lift up before you today the voting members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America meeting this week in Minneapolis. May the renewing power of your Holy Spirit bless and guide all the decisions that are made in this gathering. We especially lift up all of the ecumenical partner churches in full communion with the ELCA in anticipation of the same partnership of faith being affirmed with the United Methodist church at this Assembly.
