Prayer July 26, 2009
Eternal God, we beseech thee to assist us as we wrestle with the Death Penalty issue. Help us, Lord, to follow the example of Jesus Christ, who demonstrated compassion to the thief on the cross. May we express compassion to those on death row. Transform us so that our hopes and desires will be truly fixed on justice for all, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
