| 1991 | Workshop on Middle East held in response to the Gulf War. The Council developed statements on "Working For Peace In A Time of War" and on ethics in state government. | |
| 1992 | The Council is partner in founding Partners In Dialogue - a seven-religion interfaith organization for education and understanding. Council founds "Imprisoning The South Carolina Economy" with 30 governmental, educational, advocacy, and church groups as partners. | |
| 1993 | First forum held on Faith and Health. Mission and structure for faith and health developed. | |
| 1994 | Council and many partners organize to plan for the referendum to end video
poker gambling in South Carolina. The Ecumenical AIDS Ministry (TEAM) is now three years
old and finally has its first professional staff person - Peter Lee. AIDS care teams
Council has trained are now at work all over the state.
